SPF or Sender policy framework, is an anti spam facility introduced on the 31st october 2004. It is designed to restrict the servers that are able to send email for a particular domain.
We by default include our entire IP allocation within the domains we control DNS for. However if you are using a mail server on another ISP you will need to contact us to let us know of the extra information to be added to the record.
All we need to know is the IP address of any relevant machines that will be sending email for your domain.
Any updates of these records takes 24 hours to propogate around the internet.
